Hunt smart, hunt safe

Safety

LootSkip hunts are designed for safe, public, legal places — city blocks, not cliff edges. Here's how to hunt smart.

INTERIM — pending attorney review. This is a plain-language placeholder so you know the rules before you play. It is not the final legal agreement; an attorney-drafted version replaces it before any cash hunts run. LootSkip is the platform that hosts hunt listings — never the organizer of any hunt.

No treasure is worth your safety.

Before and during a hunt

  • Check your surroundings and watch for traffic — look up from your phone.
  • Hunt in daylight unless a hunt explicitly says otherwise.
  • Tell someone where you’re going.
  • Mind the weather.
  • Respect private property lines — public, legal spots only.
  • Kids hunt with an adult.

Know when to turn back

If a spot feels unsafe, looks like it needs climbing, digging, water, or going somewhere you shouldn’t — stop and turn back. No loot is worth a risk. A real LootSkip hunt is on safe, public, legal ground: city blocks, not cliff edges. If a hunt asks you to do something dangerous or illegal, don’t do it — report it instead.

LootSkip is the platform, not the organizer

We host hunt listings created by skippers; we are never the organizer of a hunt. We restrict hunts to safe, public, legal locations through rules, moderation, and reports — but your safety and judgment are always your own. See the Terms.
